Spiced Runner

The ideal drink for an off-duty privateer, the Spiced Runner is a fruity mix of Original Spiced Gold and blended juices. It had its beginnings on the shores of the Florida Keys and is named after the ‘Rum Runners’ that smuggled contraband into those parts during the Prohibition era.

The Captain has claimed it as his own by adding Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold to his Spiced Runner recipe. Kick your boots off, find a palm tree and enjoy our memorable take on this recipe.

You can achieve a glorious sunset gradient in your Spiced Runner drink by pouring the grenadine into your glass once everything else is mixed together. To really get in the spirit, serve it up in a Hurricane glass, too.

What you'll need

For one serving

  • 50 mlCaptain Morgan Original Spiced Gold
  • 50 mlOrange juice
  • 50 mlPineapple juice
  • 1 Splash of Grenadine
  • 1 GlassfulIce

Method

  1. Fill a shaker with ice.

  2. Add Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold, orange juice, pineapple juice and grenadine into the shaker.

  3. Shake until cold.

  4. Strain into a tall glass over ice.
