Once a favourite of seafaring men, it’s now popular amongst privateers and civilians alike.

The Hurricane recipe is a mix of white rum and Original Spiced Gold, passion fruit juice, mango juice, lime juice and sugar syrup; it’s a real taste of the tropics. Take the Captain’s advice and enjoy a Hurricane or two as the sun sets.

Make like a New Orleanian and serve yours in traditional hurricane glasses. Best enjoyed under a palm tree on a desert island.

  • 20 mlCaptain Morgan Original Spiced Gold
  • 20 mlCaptain Morgan White Rum
  • 55 mlPassion fruit juice
  • 30 mlOrange juice
  • half Lime juice
  • 1 tspSimple syrup
  • 1 tspGrenadine
  • 1 Cherry
  • 1 Orange slice
  • 1 GlassfulCubed Ice


  1. Add Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold, Captain Morgan White Rum, passion fruit juice, orange juice, lime juice, simple syrup and grenadine in a shaker with the ice.

  2. Strain into a large hurricane glass filled with fresh ice.

  3. Garnish with a slice of orange and a cherry.
